Founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, Talisker Distillery is located on the shores of Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye. As the island’s only distillery, it embodies a powerful maritime style shaped by its rugged coastal environment. Now part of the Diageo portfolio, it stands as one of the most iconic island Scotch whisky producers. Talisker is renowned for its bold and expressive character, combining moderate peat, distinctive peppery notes, smoke, sea salt and citrus.
