Description

Founded in 1825 near Pitlochry in the Highlands, Edradour Distillery has long been known as one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries. Its whitewashed buildings and artisanal character make it an iconic part of the Scottish landscape. Since 2002, the distillery has been owned by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Edradour produces a rich and full-bodied single malt, often matured in sherry or wine casks, delivering notes of dried fruits, chocolate and spice. It also produces a heavily peated expression under the name Ballechin, demonstrating the breadth of its craftsmanship while maintaining a small-scale production approach.
