Founded in 1842 in Aberdeen, Wm Cadenhead Ltd. is regarded as Scotland’s oldest independent bottler still in operation. Now based in Campbeltown and part of J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd., the company has built a strong reputation through careful cask selection and a long-standing commitment to authenticity. Cadenhead favours bottlings without chill-filtration or added colouring, aiming to present whisky in its most natural form. Through ranges such as the “Original Collection”, “Small Batch” and numerous single cask releases, the bottler appeals to enthusiasts seeking honest, sometimes unconventional profiles that faithfully reflect the character of each cask.
