Description
Founded in 1938 in Glasgow as a cask broker, Duncan Taylor is now an independent bottler based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Over the decades, the company has built a significant inventory of casks sourced from numerous Scottish distilleries, enabling it to release a wide range of single malts and single grains. Duncan Taylor is particularly known for its “Octave” range, which uses small casks of around 50 litres to enhance wood interaction and flavour concentration. Its bottlings are typically released without chill-filtration or added colouring, emphasising authenticity and the individual character of each cask.
